Why book direct?

The best rate, direct and commission-free

Booking platforms take a commission on every night sold. That commission funds neither the cleaning, nor the welcome, nor the upkeep of the property: it pays only the intermediary who introduced you to us. Book direct on our website and it simply disappears.

In practice, our direct rates are on average 20% better than those shown on the big platforms, for exactly the same properties, on the same dates, with the same services. This is not a one-off promotion but a structural difference, valid all year round.

What booking direct saves you

Over a week in a Méribel apartment, the gap often comes to several hundred euros. On a large chalet in February it can exceed a thousand. That is the whole family's lift passes, or two excellent dinners out in peak season.

This saving never comes at the expense of the property or the service. The home is identical, the equipment too, and you also get our on-site concierge team. You simply pay the right price, without the toll of an intermediary who will play no part in your stay.

We commit to the best guaranteed rate: if you find one of our properties cheaper elsewhere for the same dates, tell us and we will match it immediately.

A clear price, with no hidden fees

The quote you receive is the amount you will pay. End-of-stay cleaning, household linen and tourist tax appear in black and white before any payment is requested, not on the final screen of a booking funnel.

We also set out clearly what remains optional: lift passes, ski lessons, equipment hire, transfers or a private chef. You choose what interests you, and never discover a surprise line on your final invoice.

A local concierge, not an anonymous platform

We are not a search engine listing adverts. We are a concierge company based in the Méribel valley, which selects, equips and maintains every apartment and chalet in its collection itself.

That difference changes everything about how a stay unfolds. When you write to us, you are talking to the team that holds the keys, made the beds the day before and will be there if something goes wrong. There is no outsourced call centre between you and the property.

A team that knows every property

We know which apartment catches the morning sun, which has a genuinely heated ski locker, which suits a family with a baby and which to avoid if someone in your party struggles with stairs. None of these details appear on a specification sheet.

That is why we answer your questions precisely before you book, in English or French, usually within the hour. Our photos are faithful and our descriptions honest: we would rather lose a booking than manage a disappointment on arrival.

The welcome and services included in every stay

Booking direct automatically gives you our core services: a personal welcome on arrival whatever the hour, household linen provided, end-of-stay cleaning and local assistance reachable seven days a week throughout your stay.

No keybox with a code lost in a lobby, no premium-rate number, no automated voicemail. We hand over the keys, show you around, explain the heating and the nearest gondola, and remain available afterwards.

À la carte services for a turnkey holiday

Before you arrive we prepare whatever you wish: lift passes collected and waiting on the table, lessons booked with the resort's ski schools, equipment delivered to the property and groceries put away in the fridge. You open the door and everything is ready.

During your stay we arrange extra housekeeping on request, a private chef for a special evening, massages, transfers to the station or airport, and your restaurant reservations for the weeks when the best tables are fully booked.

Nothing is imposed and nothing is charged by default: you pick only what genuinely makes life easier.

Advice only a local can give

Lively neighbourhood or silent hamlet? Ski-in ski-out in Mottaret or village life in Les Allues? Valley pass or 3 Valleys pass? A gentle-rate week in January or the full buzz of the February holidays? These trade-offs make or break a holiday, and no algorithm will settle them for you.

We live here year-round. Describe your group, the children's ages, your skiing level and your budget, and we will point you to the property and the week that genuinely match - including when the best answer is a neighbourhood you had not considered.

We regularly advise against a property that is available simply because it does not suit the group. That is exactly what you expect from honest advice, and it explains why most of our guests come back the following year.

Booking in practice

The process is deliberately simple: write to us with your dates and group size, or book directly online from the listing you like. We confirm availability and send you a personal proposal.

From there everything is in writing, with a clear contract and terms stated up front. No commitment is required until you have approved the proposal.

Placing a no-obligation option

Still unsure of your dates, or waiting for the other families in the group to confirm? We place a temporary option on the property, which removes it from availability while everyone decides.

The option is free and carries no obligation. It avoids the classic situation where the perfect chalet goes while the group is still exchanging messages - especially common for Christmas and February weeks.

Payment, contract and cancellation terms

The booking is confirmed with a deposit, the balance settled before arrival. Online payment is secure, and bank transfer remains available if you prefer. A contract sets out all the conditions.

Cancellation terms appear on the quote and the contract before any payment. We also recommend suitable travel insurance, particularly for stays booked far in advance.

What booking direct actually changes

The price argument is the most visible, but it is not the only one, nor even the most important across a full week. What genuinely sets a direct booking apart is the chain of responsibility: one reachable team that knows the property and stands behind its condition.

These are the differences our guests notice most often when comparing with a stay booked through a platform.

One point of contact from first message to departure

You speak to the person who actually manages the property, not to a support desk opening a ticket. A question about distance to the slopes, parking or whether there is a travel cot gets a precise answer within hours.

That continuity matters most when something goes wrong. A delayed flight, a late arrival or a last minute need is settled with a single message, with no procedure in between.

Terms that are negotiable and transparent

Arrival and departure days, minimum stay outside school holidays and additional services can adapt to your situation. A platform applies a grid; we apply common sense.

Exactly what is included is stated before booking, with no service fee added at the final payment step. That is often where the real price gap opens up.

Properties we know personally

We go inside every property we offer, several times a season. We know which ones have a genuine ski locker, which have recent bedding and which require an uphill walk on the way back from the slopes.

That ground level knowledge is what lets us point you to the right property rather than the one that sells best. Across a week of holiday, that is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions about booking direct

These are the questions we are asked most often before a first booking. If yours is not here, write to us: we reply quickly and straightforwardly.

Our answers apply across our whole collection, in Méribel Centre, Mottaret, Méribel Village, Morel, La Renarde and the hamlets of the valley.

Is the direct rate really better?

Yes, consistently. With no platform commission to pass on, we offer the best available rate for identical properties and dates, and we undertake to match any better price you find.

Beware misleading comparisons, though: check that the price shown elsewhere really includes cleaning, linen and service fees, which often appear only at the final step on platforms.

Can I book without paying straight away?

Yes. A free, no-obligation option can be placed while you organise your group or confirm your train or flight tickets.

The booking only becomes firm when the deposit is paid, once you have approved the proposal and read the terms.

What happens if there is a problem during my stay?

Our team is here, in the valley, and reachable seven days a week. A temperamental water heater, a question about the shuttles, a last-minute need: we deal with it directly, with no intermediary.

That is the very heart of our concierge business, and the main difference from a rental booked through a platform, where support often amounts to an online form.

Do you offer short or midweek stays?

Outside school holidays, short stays and midweek arrivals are often possible subject to availability. It is a good way to enjoy the resort at reduced rates in January or April.

In peak season, however, rentals generally run Saturday to Saturday, as everywhere in the Alps. Tell us your constraints and we will say frankly what is feasible.

Continue exploring the valley

The Meribel valley reads as a set of connected neighbourhoods, and the right choice often comes down to two or three details of position. To compare, have a look at Morel - Altitude 1600, Chandon, Les Allues, Meribel Mottaret, Meribel Village and Le Chatelet.

Our practical guides complete these neighbourhood pages. They cover apartment rental in Meribel, the weather and snow report, ski lessons, how to get to Meribel, apres ski and the live webcams, which is enough to plan the whole stay before you even book.
